At the popular tourist trap restaurant The Grill in Times Square, that serves thousands of customers on a daily basis, recent immigrant Estela meets her new colleagues who are often illegal migrants: waitress Julia (Rooney Mara), her boyfriend the chef Pedro and his rival Max. Amid the chaos of prep and orders, they talk about love, family trouble and their homesickness.
