Emma’s persona was compiled from more than twenty in-depth interviews with women. These are stories that we are usually not privy to, because they take place behind closed doors and the participants are either unwilling or unable to talk about them. This time, if only indirectly, through Emma, they each open up to us and show us a hidden, silent moment in their lives.
