Following her triumphant 2024 Madama Butterfly, she now returns as Tatyana to simultaneously captivate both New York and the MET’s global broadcast audience. The urbane title role of Tchaikovsky’s opera will be portrayed here by the charismatic Igor Golovatenko. The production will be conducted by the remarkably talented Timur Zangiev, who makes his debut while still in his early thirties, and Lensky’s heart-wrenchingly beautiful aria will be sung by the rising star Stanislas de Barbeyrac.
