Antonello Allemandi was born and educated in Milan, Italy, where he was so successful that he was already conducting in public at the age of 21. Since then, he has performed in the world's most famous opera houses. In the autumn of 2022, he conducted Donizetti's opera Lucia di Lammermoor at the Hungarian State Opera, with the MÁV Symphony Orchestra. The collaboration was so successful that Allemandi was delighted to conduct the orchestra's concert in Budapest again. This concert will feature works by three Italian composers. Our guest musician, Barnabás Kelemen is one of the most successful, Kossuth Prize-winning Hungarian violinists of our time. He has been awarded the Franz Liszt, the Kossuth, the Prima and the Gramophone Prizes, and is a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Order of Merit of the Republic of Hungary.
