    Az 1981-ben alakult KFT eredeti zenei és szövegvilágával a magyar pop-rock zenei újhullám emblematikus zenekarává vált. Laár András, Bornai Tibor, II. Lengyelfi Miklós és Márton András együttese rögtön a megalakulás évében két díjat nyert Magyarország akkori legnagyobb zenei eseményén, a Magyar Televízió Tánc- és Popdal Fesztiválján. Slágerük, a Bábu vagy akkori szokatlan hangzásával, a festett arccal, jelmezekben előadott bábu-szerű koreográfiával egy csapásra ismertté tette őket az egész ország előtt. Dalaik négy évtized után is toplistákon szerepelnek.
