    Performer:
    Paweł Kowalski (Poland) – piano

Now in its seventh edition, the MiraTone Festival and Academy – founded by violinist Miranda Liu – has become one of Central Europe’s most vibrant classical music events. Each year, it brings together internationally acclaimed artists and passionate young musicians in the heart of Budapest.
This unique recital blends the soul of Polish classical music with the evocative sound of film scores. Pianist Paweł Kowalski, hailed as one of Poland’s most versatile musicians, invites the audience on a poetic and powerful journey through the music of Fryderyk Chopin and legendary Polish film composers.
At the heart of the program are some of Chopin’s most beloved works, including the “Minute Waltz”, the famous G minor Ballade, and a stunning rarity: an A minor waltz recently discovered in 2024 at the Morgan Library & Museum in New York! Interwoven among them are works by composers like Ignacy Jan Paderewski, who was one of the great early interpreters of Chopin, and selections from the iconic film scores of Wojciech Kilar and Krzysztof Komeda.
Whether you're a classical music enthusiast or simply love emotionally rich music with cinematic flair, this concert promises to be an unforgettable experience. Let the piano’s voice guide you through “timeless echoes” of memory, emotion, and imagination.
