The Hungarian National Ballet Institute was established 7 seasons ago: in these past years, the first students have grown to become young ladies with serious talent. We are happy to report that the next generations are also on their way: children are now studying in 7 years and 5 preparatory classes, as young as the kindergarten age group. The masters and students are all enthusiastic to show off everything they have learnt and know in the form of a gala night. The basis of this fantastic night is traditional ballet, but it also includes tap dance, modern dance, character dance, and folk dance, to which we invite relatives, friends, and everyone else that loves dance.
A musicalben árva gyerekek egy csapata kószál a háborús front kellős közepén. Egy békés hajlékra vágynak, ahová behúzódhatnak éjszakára. És természetesen egy jó falatra. Ha nem kapnak ételt, akkor elcsenik maguk. De ugyan ki tudna haragudni rájuk? Csak túl akarják élni a háborút. Ma, amikor milliók kényszerültek elhagyni otthonukat, ez is döbbenetesen ismerős üzenet.
Born in Vilnius and with Armenian roots, the soprano Asmik Grigorian is one of the biggest favourites – and no longer an outside favourite – on today’s international opera scene.
