The Romanian String Quartet proposes a complex artistic and musicological endeavor: editing and publishing three forgotten works by Sabin Drăgoi and Mihail Andricu, performing them in a European tour, and producing professional audio-video recordings.
The project activates the national musical heritage and stimulates contemporary creation through the call for works "Miorița Reimagined", dedicated to young composers. The concerts will take place in six cities across Romania and Europe, and the scores will be distributed to university centers. The initiative creates a bridge between generations and reintroduces essential aesthetic values into the artistic circuit, in a contemporary, participatory, and sustainable vision.
Our project will be promoted in national and international media, and Radio România Muzical will record one of the concerts to later distribute it through the European Broadcasting Union.
