Olaszországi kirándulást ígér zenekarunk hangversenye, amely a XIX. század ünnepelt nagybőgővirtuózát, Giovanni Bottesinit is megidézi egy romantikus operabetét erejéig. Ezután Paganini komoly és mély érzelmeket is kifejező h-moll hegedűversenye következik. A darab lassú tételét, mely egy szívhez szóló imádság, két, hangszeres bravúrokkal teli tétel keretezi, majd egy népszerű nápolyi dal feldolgozását halljuk, a „La campanella”-t („Harangok”).
Bottesini: Il diavolo della notte: Sinfonia Respighi: Concerto Gregoriano – for violin and orchestra Strauss: From Italy, Op. 16
FEATURING
Kristóf Baráti - violin
CONDUCTOR
Michelangelo Mazza
The concert is organised in cooperation with the Italian Cultural Institute.
Our orchestra's concert promises an Italian excursion, evoking the celebrated double bass virtuoso of the 19th century, Giovanni Bottesini, for a romantic opera. Then comes a violin concerto by Ottorino Respighi, inspired by early Christian and Gregorian music. Finally, we say farewell with Richard Strauss's evocative symphonic poem, entitled From Italy. Like a postcard, it nostalgically recalls the trips to Sorrento, Rome and Naples. The soloist of the evening is Kristóf Baráti, Kossuth, Bartók-Pásztory and Prima prize winner violinist. But our audience may also be familiar with the name of Michelangelo Mazza, a conductor who specialises in Italian opera, and whose conducting has been heard by Budapest audiences at the aria recitals of Olga Peretyatko and Anna Netrebko.
