Winning praise from the likes of Bobby McFerrin for her technique of crossing Carnatic sounds with scat singing, Vari has collaborated with Jacob Collier, Béla Fleck, Anoushka Shankar and Snarky Puppy – earning her a Grammy nomination among other accolades, and her albums are released on the same label as Söndörgö’s. Her band boasts a line-up of outstanding, highly sought-after musicians, so we can count on Vari’s first Hungarian appearance being a unique event.
