His finely woven, understated, sensitive and emotional music resists easy genre classification. Chopin and Satie are as much inspirations as contemporary electronic dance music. “There is no clear division between classical and popular music, you are free to work in either field. For me, it is natural to use diverse instruments, textures, sounds, and noises – diversity is natural for me, because that’s what life is like,” he said in an interview. No newcomer to Budapest, he now returns with a solo show.
